Welcome to Boyette Springs Church of God. We are very blessed that you have chosen to visit us and our church. This page of our website is to help you get acquainted with our church, various available ministries, and our beliefs. Our church is a true multi-cultural, spirit-filled, Pentacostal church. We are affiliated with The Church God Headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee.
Upon your arrival, you will be warmly greeted at the door by one of the ushers and greeters, who will provide you with the service's bulletin and is immediately available to answer any questions you may have. You will be able to quickly locate any of our ushers as they all wear burgandy blaziers and all have name tags designatimg them. They are all there to answer any questions or give directions to any of our ministries in progress. Please feel free to talk with them. Also be sure to stop by our Welcome Center for any information about the church.
Our first ministry on Sunday mornings is our Sunday School classes which begin at 9:30 a.m. We literaly have ministry classes for ages cradle to senior adult. They are located at various places around the church and can be quickly located by talking with an usher or someone at the Welcome Center.
On Sunday at 10:30 a.m., we all meet in the Main Sanctuary for our worship service. Everyone of all ages will be part of praise and worship, followed by a dismisal of the younger ages at 11:00 a.m. Our Children's Church program begins at this time for ages 5 to 12. A Special Needs class for all ages is provided during Children's Church time and Nursery is provided during both Sunday morning and evening services for ages 0-1 and todder ages 2-3 that are potty trained.
Other opportunities to worship with us include Sunday evening service at 6:00 p.m and Wednesday evening Family Training Hour. On Wednesday evenings we have classes that cover: Nursery and Toddlers, Boys ages 5-12 in Royal Rangers, Girls ages 5-12 in Missionettes, Youth ages 13-19, and adults. We also offer a Spanish Service that is scheduled for the 4th Friday of every month which begins at 7:30 p.m.
We also have college-level classes that are held on Tuesday evenings. Please see the Welcome Center for more information regarding these and any other current ministries taking place in the church.
In addition, we have other various ministries taking place throughout the week including: Ladies Intercessory Prayer, Women's Decipleship, Destiny Seekers Singles Ministry, The Garden of Eatin' Food Pantry, and Christian Martial Arts Ministry. Visit our Ministries page for more details.

Why do we stand when we sing?
"And the Levites....stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high." 2 Chronicles 20:19
Why do we clap our hands?
"O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph." Psalms 47:1
Why do we lift our hands?
"Thus will I bless thee while I live; I will lift up my hands in thy name." Psalm 63:4,

Why do we sing traditional hymns and contemporary songs?
"And be not drunk with wine, wherin is excess; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymnns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord." Ephesians 5:18-19
Why do we have speaking with tongues and interpretation of those tongues?
"I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied; for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. Wherefore, brethren, covet to prophesy and forbid not to speak with tongues." 1 Corinthians 14:5, 39
Why does the whole church pray at once for specific needs?
"And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which has made heaven and earth, and the sea, and all that is in them." Acts 4:24
Why do we anoint with oil and pray for the sick and suffering?
"Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him." James 5:14-15

Why do we worship with tithes and offerings"
"Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." Malachi 3:10
